If we are speaking about Avignon, we must mention the celebrated Popes' Palace, which is a world heritage site and is included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. In light of the Palace's colossal size, plus its imposing presence over the city, it should come as no surprise that this is the largest gothic palace in all of history.
