A medieval-Victorian castle, Ashford Castle now serves as a five-star luxury hotel on the Galway side of Lough Corrib in Ireland, on the Mayo-Galway border, near Cong on the Mayo-Galway border, near Cong on the Mayo-Galway border on the Galway side of Lough Corrib. Red Carnation Hotels owns and operates the hotel, which was previously owned by the Guinness family and is a member of their organization.
